Reasons to Choose AGICO’s Pan Type Concrete Mixer
Increase Mixing Efficiency by 30%–50%
The mixing blades of the pan concrete mixer rotate at 9–12 r/min, allowing a large volume of material to be mixed in a short period. Compared with traditional mixing methods, its mixing efficiency can be increased by 30%–50%.
Reach Mixing Uniformity Over 95%
The vertical pan concrete mixer enables multidimensional movement of materials on the pan, ensuring thorough contact and mixing. Whether the materials are granular or powdered, a high degree of uniformity can be achieved, with mixing uniformity reaching over 95%.
Wide Range of Applications
The vertical pan concrete mixer has strong adaptability to different materials and can mix various types of materials, including dry powders, wet materials, and viscous substances. By changing the mixing blades and adjusting the mixing parameters, it can meet the requirements of different mixing processes.
Reduces Labor Intensity
The operation interface of the equipment is simple and easy to understand. Operators only need to set parameters such as mixing time and rotation speed on the control panel, and the equipment will run automatically. Additionally, maintenance is convenient, with components easy to disassemble for cleaning or replacement.
Reduced Energy Consumption by 10%–20%
The vertical pan concrete mixer is designed with energy efficiency in mind. By optimizing the shape and structure of the mixing blades, the energy consumption during mixing is reduced. Compared with similar equipment, energy consumption can be lowered by 10%–20%.

Pan Concrete Mixer Working Principle

Structural Composition
- The pan concrete mixer mainly consists of a pan, mixing blades, a drive unit, a feed inlet, and a discharge outlet.
- The pan is usually placed horizontally and serves as the main area for material mixing. The mixing blades are installed above the pan and connected to the drive unit, which allows them to rotate at high speed when powered by the motor. The drive unit provides power for the mixer and controls the rotation speed of the blades.
- The feed inlet is located at the top of the mixer for easy material input, while the discharge outlet is positioned at the bottom of the pan for smooth removal of the mixed material.
The pan concrete mixer mixes materials using the blades on the pan surface. During operation, the rotating blades generate centrifugal and stirring forces, pushing the material toward the center of the pan and allowing it to flow evenly across the surface. This creates strong material circulation on the pan, enabling rapid mixing and achieving a uniform dispersion.
1
Start-Up and Feeding
The drive unit powers the mixing blades to rotate at high speed above the pan. Once the material enters the pan through the feed inlet, it falls onto the pan surface.
2
Material Mixing
During rotation, the material is acted upon by three main forces. Centrifugal force pushes the material toward the edge of the pan, shear force divides and evenly distributes the material, and friction force induces relative motion of the material on the pan surface. The combined action of these three forces causes the material to flow along complex trajectories, ensuring thorough mixing.
3
Vertical Convection
The special design of the mixing blades generates vertical convection, causing the material to move up and down, which further enhances mixing uniformity and efficiency.
