A twin shaft mixer batching plant refers to a concrete batching plant that uses a twin shaft concrete mixer as the core mixing equipment. The twin shaft concrete mixer is the most commonly used concrete mixing device. It enables powerful and uniform mixing by driving two mixing shafts to rotate synchronously in opposite directions. It delivers excellent mixing performance for stiff-dry concrete, semi stiff-dry concrete, plastic concrete, and various concrete mix ratios.
A twin shaft mixer batching plant features fast mixing speed, large output, stable quality, high mixing uniformity, and reliable durability. AGICO’s twin shaft mixer concrete mixing plants cover production capacities from 25 to 240 m³/h. They support customized layout and configuration for both stationary and mobile deployments. These plants are widely applied in engineering scenarios including large-scale buildings, bridges, highways, airports, and precast concrete (PC) plants.

The JS series concrete mixers manufactured by AGICO are built using high-wear-resistant materials containing >26% chromium. They adopt a multi-arm design, which helps shorten mixing time by 15%. This structure also allows the mixer to deliver a higher level of mixing uniformity and stability.
The mixer is designed with six-layer shaft-end sealing technology, which effectively prevents slurry leakage and shaft locking. This sealing structure protects the mixing shaft from bonding and prolongs the service life of the system.
The discharge gate of the mixer is powered by a hydraulic drive system, which ensures reliable and smooth unloading. The mixer supports dual discharge modes, and when a power outage occurs, the operator can switch to manual discharge mode to guarantee continued operation.

Working Principle of Twin Shaft Mixer Batching Plant

Storage: Cement, aggregates, water, and additives are separately stored in their respective storage systems.
Loading: The various raw materials are conveyed to the batching or weighing system through the transportation system.
Batching: According to the preset concrete mix ratio, the batching system accurately measures each raw material.
Mixing: The accurately measured raw materials are fed into the main mixer for thorough mixing, forming a uniform concrete mixture.
Discharging: The mixed concrete is discharged into concrete mixer trucks.
Transporting: The concrete mixer trucks transport the concrete to the construction site.
